Specialist in Automation and Robotics
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Specialist in Automation and Robotics to join our team. This is a new position in the Southeastern Europe region aimed at enhancing our automation capabilities and integrating robotic systems into our existing processes. The ideal candidate will take a proactive role in automating tasks across various labs and facilities using advanced robotics, electronics, and programming techniques.
Key Responsibillities:
- design, develop, and implement automation solutions for repetitive tasks in lab and industrial environments using robotic arms, PLCs, and electronic components.
- program and integrate robots with various control systems using languages such as C#, Python, Lua, Blockly, and others
- collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and automate manual and repetitive processes
- maintain, troubleshoot, and improve robotic systems to ensure efficient operation.
Required Qualifications:
- proficiency in programming (C#, Python, Lua, Blockly)
- some experience with robotic systems, PLCs, electronic components, or microcontrollers.
- at least basic understanding of structured data (SQL, CSV, JSON, XML).
Preferred Experience:
- hands-on experience with Universal Robots, Dobot, or similar robotic platforms.
- mechanical skills (basic carpentry, power tools).
- familiarity with 3D printing technologies and CAD software for designing and prototyping automation components.
- creative and solution-oriented, with experience in process automation in lab or industrial settings.
- knowledge of mechatronics, combining mechanical, electrical, and software systems.
Additional Considerations:
- experience automating laboratory tasks and knowledge of industry requirements in Southeastern Europe is a plus.
- willingness to travel across Southeastern Europe as needed to support project deployment and collaboration.
- perfect English, written and spoken as well
- Czech language is advantage
- start date ASAP or by agreement
