We are seeking an outstanding applicant for the academic position of scientific researcher. The applicant should demonstrate experience in the design, synthesis and characterization of transition metal coordination compounds to work in the investigation of the structural, electronic and magnetic properties of modern molecular materials.
Specifically, we are looking for candidates who have research experience in crystallography, specifically with single crystal XRD. Moreover, experience with crystal engineering, supramolecular properties and spectroscopic techniques is highly desirable.

ACADEMIC SCIENTIST AND RESEARCHER I: COORDINATION CHEMISTRY AND CRYSTALLOGRAPHY
Requirements:
- Ph.D. degree in chemistry or related fields, not earlier than 3 years ago.
- Experience with one or more of the following methods: single crystal and powder XRD (compulsory), thermal analysis, elemental analysis, spectroscopies (mass spectroscopy, FTIR, UV-Vis, EPR, NMR).
- Expertise in synthesis of organic ligands and transition metal coordination compounds is required.
- Some experience with data analysis and scientific software and languages (MATLAB, Origin, Olex2) are desirable.
- Experience in writing and publishing peer-reviewed research papers with a track record.
- Good communication skills and fluent written and spoken English.
